Canadian-born trans activist Jessica Yaniv is making headlines again after being refused to get her bikini wax done at a clinic in Canada.
Sources shared how she’s now being dubbed a fugitive after facing so many arrest warrants in British Columbia. She became infamous for filing dozens of human-rights complaints against small beauty salon owners who refused to perform the sensitive and very intimate procedure of Brazilian waxing upon her request.
She stated how her transgender identity was a major issue for people, and that really got to her.
As per the article, authorities alleged that she had also carried out harassment against one of the salon’s owners. Therefore, an arrest warrant was issued for her in connection with this offense.
The news comes as the latest development from her range of disputes that she’s had in the past. Many are aware of her taking legal action against a gynecologist for refusing to see her, due to her trans status again.
She’s continuing to be involved in so many legal and personal controversies and also started to evade law enforcement, sparking fresh criticism and concerns from both her critics as well as the whole LGBT-Q community.point 480 |
In places like Canada, warrants can be forced across various provinces if they’re filed under the national database or authorized under an interprovincial cooperation agreement.point 159 | 1
