A father in China is making headlines after opting to punish his young son in a brutal manner for playing video games, way past his bedtime.

Sources from local media outlets revealed how the dad showed zero remorse and instead, outlined how he would like to teach his son the reality of the real world.

Hence, he felt that if he did not punish him, he’d continue doing the same for months to come. But netizens were appalled by the behavior. They claim it is just so wrong on so many levels. And now, they’re bashing the dad who may have been too harsh, to begin with.

The father revealed how his son wished to fall asleep on so many levels. But he was not going to let him do that again.

A period of 17 hours for nothing but video games is really long when you come to think of it. The young child was dumbfounded that his dad would actually make him do this.

But he endured the pain and suffering and is believed to have thrown up as well after all of this. Even then, his dad failed to feel sorry for him.

Many netizens feel there are better ways to go about the situation like punishing him by confiscating his phone and whatnot, but the dad failed to agree.

He says that once a lesson learned the hard way would force him to always remember it for years to come and since he was big on discipline, he had no time and patience for this matter.

Distressing footage showed the man embarking on his journey of shaking up his son. He really shocked the world by hitting him and forcing him to get up, each time the little one fell asleep.
