Air India Crash Report Reveals FATAL Mistake Made by Pilot Before Accident

The pilots of the Air India flight that crashed and killed 241 people on board had questioned one another if they had switched off the plane’s fuel supplies moments before it crashed, the report shared.

The Boeing 787 Dreamliner is thought to have lost power when the fuel cutoff switches almost simultaneously flipped, starving the engines of fuel, as per the report by Indian accident investigators.

This meant the plane started to lose thrust immediately and sink down moments after setting off to London from the Indian city of Ahmedabad. This resulted in a serious crash on June 12 this year.

The flight’s final moments can be heard on the voice recorders, where one pilot was heard asking the other why he cut off the fuel. The other pilot responded that he did not do so, the AAIB investigation bureau shared.

It failed to identify which remarks were made by the flight’s captain and which were made by the first officer, nor which pilot immediately transmitted the distress call. ‘Thrust not achieved… falling… Mayday! Mayday! Mayday!’

Seconds later, the jet started to lose height and exploded into a fireball after smashing into a hostel on the ground in Gujarat. This claimed the lives of all but one on board and 19 people on the ground.
