This is the story of a young woman who was just turned down for being too fat to fly!
Body shaming at airports is on another level and if you fail to agree with us, well, this next story is bound to make you realize just that.
A top influencer by the name of Juliana Nehme managed to gather plenty of people’s attention when she claimed that airport officials mentioned she was too fat.
All of a sudden, her travel dreams came to an end after being stopped from boarding a flight to Qatar for the current ongoing FIFA World Cup in Qatar. And if you think she was going to stay quiet on that, well, think again.
Now, the social media influencer has accused the middle eastern airline of discriminating against her due to the large size involved.
In a post comprising 118,000 Instagram followers, Juliana says she wasn’t even allowed to board the airline flight that was scheduled for a takeoff from Beirut to Doha on November 22.
While speaking to her followers, she mentioned that she and her loved ones had just flown into the nation through Air France and they had zero problems whatsoever.
But the fact that they were denied boarding on the first return back flight meant her connecting ticket for a flight linking to Sao Paulo where she resides was also missed and that infuriated her further.
The influencer also says she was so shocked that Qatar Airways didn’t offer any major refund to her despite the fact she set out a whopping 830 pounds for this particular ticket.
The airline instead informed her that the only way forward was to purchase bigger seats at a higher cost so that she could fit into them easily.
