Several fans were injured while making their way to Beyoncé’s concert on Tuesday.
The incident arose when a screaming passenger sparked a major stampede after Queen B’s latest show that was held in Atlanta.
Terrifying footage from the scene showed how people were being led inside ambulances through stretchers and wheelchairs while some of them donned comboy hats after the star’s tour at the Mercedes-Benz stadium.
Fans were seen streaming out of the show into the nearby Vine City MARTA station, where one of the passengers screamed and ran and triggered a massive stampede through the escalator, as shared by officials.
That resulted in the escalator speeding up before it came to a sudden stop, leaving fans smashed together with several passengers falling on them as shared by one witness.
One of the person suffered from a broken ankle and seven more were taken to the hospital with cuts and scrapes as stated by Fox 5. Officials are yet to speak about what led to the escalator from malfunctioning as fans left the stadium after midnight right after the final show of Beyonce in Atlanta on her tour.
