Shocking reports are speaking about the premiere for the movie Wicked, where Ariana Grande was ambushed by a fan.
The incident arose at the Asia Pacific premiere of Wicked: For Good in Singapore, where the star had a startling encounter with one of her fans on the red carpet.
It was a very extreme event as she walked down the red carpet with her castmates, only to be dragged by a man who sprinted past security barriers, grabbed her by the shoulder, and placed his arm around her while she tried to break away.
Her co-star and actress, Cynthia Erivo, who plays Elphaba opposite Grande’s Glinda, reacted in an instant manner. She placed herself between Grande and the intruder, appearing to shout and hold off the man until security rushed to intervene. Grande was very shaken and started to take deep breaths as her security team stepped in and apprehended the fan. She was comforted by her castmates.
While no serious harm took place, the encounter was similar to Grande’s past history of trauma and anxiety stemming from the 2017 Manchester concert attack.
Shockingly, the person who carried out the ambush on the celeb was soon seen coming out on social media the next day, proudly claiming full responsibility for the act.
