You may have come across plenty of proposals gone wrong stories but this next one just might be the most tragic one of them all.
Think along the lines of a woman slipping and falling 100 feet to her death, moments after her lover proposed to her on a clifftop.
The couple was seen making their way to the uberly romantic hotspot but what they did not realize is that other than how beautiful and scenic it really was, it was just as dangerous.
The duo started to exchange their feelings and the woman was presented with a beautiful ring. Everything was going according to plan, her man explained. But then the most horrifying thing happened that no one was prepared for. She slipped and fell off the edge of the cliff.
Yesim Demir and Nizamettin Gursu were outlined as being absolute love birds who could not wish to start their life together. This was supposed to be the happiest moment in their lives but the opposite held true. It turned out to be super sad and shocking, to say the least.
Falling down 100 feet meant instant death and nothing in the world could save this 39-year-old loving woman.
The incident reportedly took place in the northwestern region of Turkey. The duo was all geared up for a picnic, packed with all of the goodies in the world.
They were super inclined toward watching a sunset. But in the end, it was just not meant to be, he continued.
Gursu revealed how he had left some of the supplies for the picnic in the car so he went out to get them. This is when all of a sudden, he heard a loud scream and it was just too late. The love of his life had just tragically fallen to her death, he sadly explained.
