Tragic reports have confirmed how a man has passed away after falling to his death from a hot air balloon.
The male was reported to have fallen at about 9:20 am on Friday near the Newpound Common, Wisborough Green in West Sussex. After the search, his remains were located in a field at about 1:50 pm, sources have confirmed.
The process of formal identification has yet to start, and the death is not being treated as suspicious at this moment in time. It’s understood that he had been on the flight from Billingshurst to Dunsfold in Surrey.
As per a spokesperson for the police, the cops were seen rushing to the scene after reports of a male falling from a hot air balloon took center stage near Newpound Common. This was just after 9:20 am on Friday.
The cops went on to report that after an extensive search for the man, his remains were located at about 1:50 pm in a field.
This particular search was believed to be carried out by officers in the neighborhood, police drones, dogs, and search officers. The man was said to be among a group of people in a flight on a balloon from Billingshurst to Dunsfold. But the cops are yet to formally identify this individual.
Moreover, an investigation is currently taking place as to the circumstances and at this point in time, the incident is not being looked as suspicious from any angle across the board.
