A grand wedding of Netra Mantena, who is the daughter of a US-based pharma tycoon, is turning Udaipur into a massive global spectacle.
It featured the likes of Jennifer Lopez, who performed in India for the first time, leaving the crowd in shock. The star managed to set the stage on fire with not only her sultry moves but also her very racy outfits, which many felt were extreme, considering it was a cultural shock for those in the country.
JLo attended the wedding draped in a beautiful sari by A-star designer Manish Malhotra, but she took on a completely different approach while dancing on her hit tunes, including Jenny from the Block and Let’s Get Loud.
Many found it strange that she chose some of her most revealing and racy outfits to date to perform in, considering the majority of the crowd was Indian.
‘How about showing some respect for the culture and its people?’- questioned one viewer, and many agreed.
Another asked when she would stop using her skin to sell, instead of her talent. Whatever the case might be, it was certainly a spectacle worth talking about. JLo was a crowd favorite, and those in the audience loved the high-energy performance on display.
