Bullying can be one of the worst things for any child to endure in their lifetime.

And this next story appears to be addressing this subject but with a controversial edge. A mom says she ended up shaving her daughter’s face because she did not wish to make her go through the trauma that’s linked to being differnet looking in the community.

The woman who goes by the name of Queen City Trends explained on TikTok how she was not alright with the thought of her child going through something that she was forced to go through as a child.

Nobody explained to her about facial hair and how some people having more than others can serve as a trigger to strangers in school to bully them. “It’s just so wrong on so many levels!”- she added, putting her own experience in the spotlight.

The viral video that has gotten nearly 30 million likes had people talking for obvious reasons. But some had trouble seeing eye to eye with the mother.

They stated that she was beautiful, no matter what. And shaving eyebrows to fit into society’s standards was totally uncalled for. But the mother disagreed and said that thick Indian brows were just something she wouldn’t allow to hurt her child.

Others helped the mother named Vidya get support for ridding her facial hair so that she wouldn’t be bullied. It was outrageous how a mother would watch her child gain low self-esteem over something like this.

And that’s why she told people to stop hating on her and understand that she knew what was best for her child.

Both her upper lip and her eyebrows were shaved and the before and after looks were shared by the mother. The mother made sure she captioned the post with, ‘this warms my heart’ because she feels that empowering young females is the most beautiful thing in the world.
