Robert De Niro’s partner has opened up about how much she’s gone through after her left face was paralyzed after the birth of her beautiful daughter.

The legendary Godfather II actor has seven kids and his latest addition to the family is Gia Virginia Chen De Niro who was born in 2023.

His partner Tiffany Chen shared more on this front including how she went through a sudden loss of movement on her face after entering the hospital for childbirth.

She mentioned that it was diagnosed as Belly’s Palsy through the MRI scan results. She shared the situation with CBS Mornings, adding how she lost all of her facial function in a minute.

She entered the hospital and the one thing that really threw people off was that if was so symmetrical. Everything had fallen and nothing was working for her.

She was so confused and doctors were equally stunned, wondering if it was indeed Belly’s Palsy or not. The latter usually presents itself as one-sided so this was haunting for her.

Thankfully, with time, it did get better but she recalls it as one of the most scary and unpredictable situations of her life.
