BREAKING: Adidas Faces BACKLASH For Using ‘Male Models’ In Its 2023 Female Swimwear Campaign Shoots


Top athleisure and footwear firm Adidas is receiving plenty of criticism for making use of male models for its recently launched swimwear collection.

The company is getting bashed for not differentiating between the two genders and that has resulted in people calling for boycotts across the globe.

Many took to their accounts on social media to mention how this behavior was not alright and the firm needed to either withdraw the images that are now going viral or cancel the campaign. But that also some people having totally opposing views and applaud them for taking a bold step.

The images show what appears to be a male as the main model who dons all the latest pieces from their collection. But the majority find it disturbing and bizarre and feel that enough is enough and they’re not inclined to see such behavior coming forward from one of the world’s leading companies.

Some referred to it as woke marketing while others dubbed it as an enterprise that was doing everything in its power to erase women. Clearly, it’s turning out to be a major issue as the matter expands online and people go to have their say on Twitter and how the behavior isn’t going to be supported by a lot of customers which could mean billions of dollars worth of losses.

This particular range of swimsuits can be found in the women’s section and it happens to be a part of their Pride collection that is found in the women’s section, the company adds.

The news comes after we saw firms such as Nike and Bud Light receive plenty of backlash for using top trans activity Dylan Mulvaney as the face for their recent campaigns where calls to boycott those brands were seen running at a new high as people simply refused to promote or purchase their products.
