Real life teen wolf has been found and it’s safe to say that he’s living true to his name.
Lalit Patidar has no such thing as shaving on his mind, despite the fact that his entire face is covered with hair.
The 18-year-old who hails from India shared how he now holds the world record for having the hairiest face in the world. Shocking, that was calculated to be 201 hairs per square centimeter of skin.
This means more than 95% of his face is covered in hair. The teen was born with a rare condition dubbed hypertrichosis that is also known as werewolf syndrome. This gives rise to excessive hair growth.
Since the Middle Ages period, there were only 50 cases recorded so far, and that makes it a chance to get this condition just one in a billion.
To assess him for this world record, he says that he traveled to Milan where he visited a trichologist. This individual shared small portions of his hair and then measured to see if that had left any mark. While he happened to be in Italy, he also showed up on a new television program.
When he found out that he would be receiving the accolade, he was so happy. “I am so speechless. People used to be so scared of me, no one spoke to me. Today, I’m being honored for this same characteristic!”- he shared.
