Shocking new reports are speaking about actor Gene Hackman and his wife Betsy Arakwa leaving behind a massive credit card debt.
This puts the star’s estate in question as the amount is said to comprise six figures.
Both of them are being hit with creditors’ claims over the alleged debt that they left behind at the time of their deaths.
As per the recent documents shared by the court, the legendary star’s estate was served with the claim by Citibank over money they owed on their Mastercard.
The bank had reportedly demanded a whopping $98,345 per paperwork that was filed on July 1.
At about the same time, another claim took center stage against Arakawa’s estate over the huge amount owed on the account with the Bank of America. The total came out to be $102,675.
Today, the late actor’s estate is worth a staggering $80 million. As shared by local media outlets before, Hackman and Arakawa were found dead inside their residence in Santa Fe, New Mexico, in February. Officials claimed that Arakawa’s death took place one week before her husband had passed away.
