The head of the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau was recently fired by the Trump administration.
The news comes just hours after a new FBI surge saw agents investigating the President be escorted out.
Rohit Chopra did acknowledge through a letter that he concluded his term as per a person familiar with the incident.
This happened just a few hours after the president fired a cohort of FBI agents who happened to be working on the Mar-a-Lago and January 6 investigations.
Chopra mentioned how he did swear an oath of working for five terms and hopes to keep on serving that until he feels he can pass the baton to another person.
He mentioned how he totally respects and understands that this president can select a director of his choice.
Republicans were opposed to Chopra since he came into power in the year 2021 by former President Joe Biden and then sought his exit from the position.
Senator Tim Scott who hails from South Carolina mentioned on Tuesday that he anticipates another major blockbuster reveal soon about how will be taking up the post of the consumer bureau.
