Singer Taylor Swift was recorded gasping for air at the latest Eras Tour show that was held in Brazil.
A video captured by a dedicated fan was published online that features the singer struggling for air after putting out a stellar performance on the song Bejewelled. This was right toward the end of her hours-long performance on stage.
Taylor started to speak about how her heart was broken into a million pieces after news regarding one of her fans passing out and dying before she took the stage arose.
Despite receiving medical attention, the poor ventilation conditions triggered the fan’s cardiac arrest for a second time, causing her to die by the time she reached the hospital.
Others grew concerned and sent out love for Taylor, adding how it was hard to see the star perform under such organized conditions. “She is so professional and watching her drenched in sweat like this is just devastating to see”- the fan added.
Some could not believe the extent to which some concertgoers go to endure crazy temperatures, just so they could see Taylor perform live.
A second fan wrote how Taylor was only 33 but still in incredible physical shape. Seeing her struggle so much is scary.
People were quick to commend her for postponing her show on Saturday night after fans had opted to attend the show before that in extreme temperatures.
Swift made the bold decision on Saturday afternoon about how she would now postpone her concert show due to consideration of her fans’ safety and well-being. She also added how that was her biggest and topmost priority at the moment.
The woman who died was identified as Ana Clara Benevides who managed to document her entry into the show and click a few images of the stage, before passing out and dying.
