NATO chief Mark Rutte has issued a sharp warning to Ukraine’s president Zelensky that he must find a new way to restore his relationship with President Trump after the recent fiery clash at the White House.
Speaking to BBC on Saturday, he called the incident between both countries a very unfortunate event.
NATO chief Mark Rutte shared that there needs to be some kind of reconciliation with Trump after the clash or matters could get so bad that Trump could end the military aid to Ukraine, spelling the end of NATO.
Ukraine’s head of state has reportedly refused to apologize to Trump and America, adding that they did nothing wrong.
Meanwhile, Trump has sent Zelensky packing, adding that he could only return if he was more respectful and if he chose peace over his point of view.
Rutte’s dire warning to the war-time president came as Zelensky duked it out with Trump and JD Vance in the Oval Office over the terms and conditions of a possible ceasefire with Russia. Tempers were seen flaring up and Trump went as far as to state that America could abandon Ukraine as a whole if they didn’t agree to the peace terms that he laid down.
