“The bird is freed” the billionaire tweeted.

The social media platform’s CEO Parag Agrawal, the company’s top lawyer Vijaya Gadde, and chief financial officer Ned Segal were removed only hours after Musk has formally acquired Twitter.

According to reports, chief customer officer Sarah Personette and the company’s general counsel Sean Edgett were also kicked out after Musk finalized the $44 billion acquisition.

The Washington Post revealed that the fired executives were quickly escorted out of the building.

After being the chief executive officer for less than a year, Agrawal will walk away from the company with $42 million.

Gadde, who earned $17 million last year, broke down in tears when Musk has taken over. She has been paid more than $12 million, Insider reported.

Personette received $11.2 million while Segal – the man behind former President Donald Trump’s ban – was given $25.5 million after being fired on Thursday.

On Wednesday, Musk changed his Twitter profile and identified himself as the ‘Chief Twit’ as she shared a video of himself entering the company’s headquarters in San Francisco.

It was in April when the South African-born billionaire made his takeover bid but later said that he had not received accurate data about bots and spam accounts.

Musk pulled out and claimed he had been misled about the size of the company.

In May, Agrawal acknowledged that ‘spam harms the experience for real people on Twitter,’ adding that ‘as such, we are strongly incentivized to detect and remove as much spam as we possibly can, every single day.’

He also said at that time that Musk, who insisted around 25 percent of Twitter accounts were fake, was exaggerating the scale of the issue.
