“I Was Forced To Wait At McDonald’s For EIGHT Minutes When All I Ordered Was Icecream & A Milkshake! How Is That Fair?”


The whole purpose of fast food is the convenience that comes with it but one man says he was fuming after a recent visit to the popular American fast food chain named McDonald’s.

The customer named Imran Patel says he was dumbfounded by the branch in Yorkshire that reportedly made him wait a staggering eight minutes for his meal. But that only comprised of the likes of ice cream and a milkshake.

Moreover, the restaurant chose to prioritize other orders before his, simply because he had ordered desserts and not a main meal.

While the thought of waiting eight minutes does not appear to be too bad, this father mentioned that he was fuming because he wasn’t being treated fairly. Therefore, he opted to go public with his rant and netizens were divided on how they felt about this.

A lot of people could relate to the man’s incident and started to explain how they were left fuming when something similar had taken place to them.

Some spoke about other eateries in the fast food industry such as KFC and Subway while there were a couple of similar hiccups. And that is what made them resort to food delivery instead of takeaways as the energy and effort were not even worth it.

The 46-year-old shed light on how his entire mood and experience were ruined, thanks to one eatery not having to pull their act together.

“I was with my children. And it was supposed to be a happy occasion where we were celebrating with a great treat. But McDonald’s took so long for my milkshake and two McFlurries that in the end, I just didn’t want it!”- he adds.

Meanwhile, other netizens did not shy away from shaming him. And that’s because CCTV footage showed that he actually waited only 8 minutes. But the dad claimed at the start that he waited a staggering 15 minutes in a queue. Whatever the case may be, this customer was certainly not a happy camper.
