What would you do if a restaurant waiter fat-shamed you?
Well, one woman was left feeling red in the face after her own waiter at a known eatery decided to fat shame her while she was placing her order.
Think along the lines of telling a customer to order extra food or else she’d end up eating her friend. And as wrong as that sounds, that’s exactly what happened with TikTok user Gloria Bennett.
She says that she was beyond mortified when one waiter came up to her and fat-shamed her, claiming she need to order more so she wouldn’t get tempted to gobble up her friend.
“I was just so embarrassed. This was never something that I could have ever imagined in a million years. How could anyone speak to me like this!”- she explained.
The TikTok user revealed how she had gone out to eat with her petite pal and very close friends of her. And the way the waiter had tried to encourage them to order extra food really blew this woman’s mind.
“He just ruined the entire mood of the evening. Who does that? I am just speechless and I don’t know what to say or do. I won’t be returning back to that eatery again!”- Gloria mentioned in a bold tone.
But wait, the horror didn’t end there. The waiter tried to act smart and was seen telling other customers to hide or guard their fries because he feared that Gloria might end up gobbling theirs down as well.
Gloria did manage to document the entire act that she feels was so absurd. And since then, it has been making the viral rounds on social media with 103,000 likes already.
