Actor Matthew Perry’s funeral has just taken place at one of the industry’s most popular cemeteries for late celebs.
The famous Friends star was laid to rest on Friday during a privately held funeral service that took place at the Forest Lawn Church of the Hills in LA.
The location is right opposite the famous location where the star spent years filming the hit show Friends in the popular Warner Bros Studios. And after a whopping 10 seasons, it finally came to an end.
Close friends and loved ones of the actor were all in attendance including his somber-looking parents who were dressed in all black for the event. This included the entire cast of friends who stood together and mourned in silence as they bid their final goodbyes to a man who was ‘everyone’s friend’ in the industry.
There are a total of five Forest Lawns located in Los Angeles. And plenty of big names from the industry are located there including the likes of Jimmy Stewart, Humphrey Bogart, and Elizabeth Taylor.
More modern names from the industry can be found in the cemetery’s branch in Hollywood Hills.
Many wiped away their tears while others just stood and watched as the coffin was laid down to the ground in the very simple hour-long ceremony. The cast of Friends united together outside the church and were pictured in conversation with other well-wishers nearby.
The service then ended with a tearful rendition of the hit song, ‘Don’t Give Up’ and that just added another moment of sadness for all.
One insider source confirmed to Daily Mail recently how there was not a try eye inside and plenty of tears and laughter was the mood. But only close friends of the actor were given the chance to speak.
