A series of prescription drugs were reportedly located at Matthew Perry’s residence after he passed away from an apparent drowning incident, the cops have confirmed to media outlet TMZ on Sunday.
While the law enforcement agencies did emphasize how there were no traces of illegal drugs present on the star’s premises, a long list of treatment drugs was located from the mansion where the leading actor passed away tragically inside his hot tub on Saturday.
Meanwhile, the cops claim to have found some anti-depressants as well as drugs linked to anxiety and COPD as reported by the media outlet today.
Matthew Perry was believed to have been suffering from a lung condition known as COPD which is believed to have aggravated due to the star’s smoking habits. Moreover, Perry has admitted to being a chain smoker in the past.
The LA County Coroner’s office was the first to break the news last week on Sunday and was reported as conducting an autopsy to figure out if there were any drugs in the actor’s system after he reportedly died.
The results are still not out and until then, the authorities claim the star’s death will continue to be a mystery and cannot be confirmed. Furthermore, the results will reportedly take a few more months until it can be confirmed so until then, all speculations are running strong on the media.
The outlet also mentioned in the past how the leading Friends star was playing pickleball at the Rivera County Club that’s located near the Pacific Palisades residence where he lives. He engaged in the activity for a good two hours on the day of his death.
After he got back, he requested the assistant to pick up a brand-new iPhone and a pair of prescription glasses for him.
As two hours passed, the assistant found the star unresponsive at his jacuzzi and then opted to call 911 for assistance.
