A mother is breaking all stereotypes and showing the world that kids deserve to enjoy their childhood as much as they can.
While some may call it lazy parenting and others poor upbringing, this mother says she could simply care less.
As anyone can imagine, the mother’s controversial parenting techniques aren’t being loved across the board. But she explained how much she adores using a range of parenting styles so that her kids don’t feel restricted at all.
You’ll find them roaming around barefoot at many places and that includes the supermarket. All in all, people were just so appalled at what on earth was going on.
Other shocking behavior includes going out to play in the rain and also not restricting the kids from getting wet. Moreover, 29-year-old Mara Doemland revealed how things can get super uncomfortable for some other parents when they see her treat her kids like this.
“People keep judging me and my parenting skills. They feel it’s not alright to be like this and that’s okay. I never force anyone to deal with kids like this so I don’t understand why they get upset at me!”- she went on to reveal.
The kids are allowed to eat anything and everything and even pick out their meals, she revealed. This means there is a high likelihood that they won’t be having fruits and vegetables too.
Mara adds that girls and boys are free to wear anything they want. She let her daughter shave off her own head.
On the other hand, the boys are allowed to wear pink dresses if that’s what they feel like doing. She also revealed how important it is to not put restrictions on kids this age.
It just makes them more curious and they’re going to end up doing wrong later on in life, she continued.
