Planning weddings is no easy task and for many brides, it’s a dream that they’ve envisioned since their childhood.

From the food to the decor to the dress and more- the list of things to take care of is plenty. And for one young woman, looking like a showstopper bride was a huge part of her goals.

Unfortunately, her dreams went down the drain when her own lover ruined her plans of wearing the ultimate bridal gown when he opted to return it to the store. That was the last straw in their relationship, causing her to flip out and cancel the event in the end.

The bride just couldn’t understand why her husband would do such a thing without ever asking her. And fact that her wardrobe meant so much to her, this behavior was not loved.

“He had the audacity to say my wedding dress was too expensive. This meant so much to me. I knew a real man would never do something like this”- the 29-year-old mentioned in a post published on Reddit.

The aftermath was not great, the duo began to fight left and right on all sorts of issues. And the end result was the bride-to-be calling off her wedding. She claims that this was a side that she had never seen in her husband. “He was a totally different man!”- she adds.

This was the biggest fight the couple had ever had over an element of their wedding. There were definitely a number of other disagreements that came their way such as discussions over the venue and even the flower girl.

But the fact that he would call her attire a total waste of money definitely took this young woman by surprise.
