This is the horrifying moment when a grandfather was mauled to death by a crocodile and dragged around town inside the beast’s jaws.
The incident reportedly took place in front of terrified villagers. Footage showed how the massive 10-foot-long crocodile was swimming away with the 80-year-old male, whose name was shared as Wasim.
The beast had the loving grandad inside his mouth as onlookers cried for help and tried to chase the beast around in an attempt that he would let go.
They used sticks and chased it across the banks of the Semaka River in Lampung yesterday.
The reptile is believed to have violently attacked the grandad while he showered inside the river, unaware of the dangers of his actions.
This incident took place in the Tanggamus Regency near his home in the southern part of the nation.
More chilling details spoke about how the elderly individual was not able to shout for the right assistance as the crocodile yanked him from right below the surface.
A villager shared how he found the grandad’s clothes alongside the riverbank and gathered other locals to search for him. This is when they showed him being dragged by the crocodile inside the water. It was struck a few times, and that’s when the crocodile released the victim’s body. But when they recovered it, he was dead.
