Tragic reports coming in from Ukraine’s second-largest city of Kharkiv have confirmed a heavy rocket attack on a residential area.

According to local media reports, the eastern part of Ukraine has been attacked with heavy gunfire and a rocket attack, which landed on a residential area, near a shopping center.

This has led to the death of dozens of innocent civilians while hundreds have reportedly been wounded as a result of the incident.

Ukraine’s interior ministry confirmed the news recently, adding how it came just moments after the country’s Ministry of Defense had warned about Russia’s evil plans to step up bombardment of the entire country, in the next few days.

Meanwhile, so many silent observers have spoken about how the peace talks could be a part of Russia’s decision to escalate fighting as that’s what is taking place at the moment.

Terrifying video footage showed the aftermath where rockets fired by Russian forces on Monday covered the area with fear while causing intense destruction of a nearby shopping center too.

“The area is being blanketed by explosions,”- explained the country’s ministry of defense. Meanwhile, one military source spoke to Daily Mail, adding how clusters of weapons and ammunition were made use of to carry out the attack.

“It is a massive war crime. So many innocent women and children are dying. They are using a multiple launch rocket system that is often utilized for area denial during the war”- explained another official.
