At least 37 people were killed and dozens more were injured after a horror crash occurred between two buses.
The collision took place on the road when the two vehicles were traveling between Uyuni and Colchani, and one of the buses ended up swerving into the oncoming lane.
This was the explosive moment when it smashed into the other during the early hours of Saturday morning.
The smash resulted in 39 people getting seriously injured and rushed to the nearby hospital in Uyuni while 37 others were killed as per a representative from the Departmental Police Command.
The cops shared how they are now carrying out investigations to determine the identity of the fatal victims and also those that were injured and are now seeking treatment at the hospital.
At the scene, a giant crane could be seen turning over one of the buses that had rolled over to the side.
They were similarly seen removing bodies from that debris and carrying them far away in wrapped blankets. As per one preliminary investigation, one of the vehicles encroached into the oncoming lane, and most likely due to speeding, it resulted in the collision
