Three college students, including a 19-year-old named Krysta Tsukahara, were killed in the early morning crash last November when the electronic vehicle burst into flames after hitting a retaining wall and a tree in Piedmont in California.

The Cybertruck driver and passenger also passed away in the fiery crash. Meanwhile, a fourth passenger was able to escape after an onlooker smashed the windshield with a tree branch. He did survive the initial crash and was fully conscious but could not escape the burning vehicle after the Cybertruck lost power, causing the electronic door release system to fail, as per a lawsuit filed by her parents.
