Female Soldier Inside Doomed Black Hawk During DC Crash ‘Finally’ Identified


The American Army has finally identified the female soldier inside the doomed Black Hawk helicopter that rammed into an American Airlines flight this week.

The tragedy killed 67 people and sources are detailing more about who was aboard the military chopper after hiding her identity.

She was identified as Capt. Rebecca M. Lobach who hailed from Durham in North Carolina. She was assigned to the 12th Aviation Battalion in Fort Belvoir Virginia.

She had reportedly served since July of 2019 as stated by the Army.

The decision to release her name came at the request of and in coordination with the family, as per the statement.

We are so shocked and devastated about what has gone down. She was our beloved Rebecca and she was a brave and young star. She lit up so many of our lives, the family shared in a statement published online by the army.
