Donald Trump is all set to be sworn in as America’s 75th President amid tight security today.
The event will be held indoors due to freezing cold temperatures which is again a historic event. The last time this took place was more than 40 years ago.
As per reports from Washington DC, the event will take center stage at noon local time. But many will miss seeing the classic event take place on the marble steps of the Capitol as usual.
The 78-year-old’s return back into politics as the country’s head of state comes four years after he tried to be re-elected but was defeated. This was a loss that he refused to accept and blatantly denied as rigging.
Trump is also the first person to return to the White House after getting convicted of criminal charges. Seeing such a US President take center stage has never happened in the US.
Meanwhile, President Joe Biden has confirmed that he will be going on a long vacation after attending Trump’s inauguration ceremony.
Biden failed to impress the country with his farewell address and was called out as one of the worst leaders that America has ever produced.
