After years of being on life support, Prince Al-Waleed bin Khaled bin Talal Al Saud’s family refused to give up on him.
In the year 2005, the prince from Saudi Arabia was involved in a car accident in London, UK, that left the then-teenager with life-changing injuries.
Prince Al-Waleed was shifted to KSA’s King Abdulaziz Medical City, where he spent the remainder of his life in a coma. It was not until yesterday that the 36-year-old prince had passed away due to his injuries, sources shared.
His father announced the tragic news of his death, mourning the loss of a beloved family member. Sources shared how the entire family strongly believed that one day, their son would recover, and they held on to that hope for years. This is why they ignored the advice of doctors and opted to keep him alive.
This decision was influenced by religious beliefs, and his father kept on saying that if he were to die, then he would have been in the grave at the time of the accident.
His mother used to say that she still sensed her son’s spirit while he was in a state of coma. However, he only showed signs of limited awareness, like small gestures, including lifting his finger or slight head movements, but he never returned to a stage of full consciousness.
