Marriage is never easy but one woman’s bizarre story on how she ended up her marriage and transformed herself to marry another person at the age of 40 is really raising eyebrows.
The 40-year-old explained how she ended up going on an all-girls trip to celebrate her birthday but that is when she realized something very interesting.
She did not miss her husband one bit and that made her indulge in the most impulsive decision of them all.
While the woman did mention that she hoped her marriage would last for eternity, it seemed like a decade was enough for her to call it quits. And she did that without giving her decision a second thought. “I just did not miss him on that girl’s trip. I think I needed a change after turning 40 so I got it”- she explained while mentioning her divorce.
41-year-old Stephanie Hanson who hails from Liverpool says she really enjoyed her ten-day trip to Kefalonia in the year 2022. She had her girlfriends by her side and a lot of dancing, drinking, and clicking pictures made her realize that this life was fabulous.
And did not need a man to keep her happy. In fact, she admits she was doing so much better without him.
Hence, the first thing she did when she returned was sending her husband a divorce. And she opted to work on herself for herself.
This included adopting a healthier lifestyle where she shun all of her excess weight and transformed her entire appearance. Along the way, she found a new love.
Her 43-year-old partner is what made her happy and she missed that feeling for a long time. Today, the mother of four is happily remarried and taking life day by day with a huge smile across her face with zero regrets.
