A fearless father was seen jumping off the Disney cruise ship after reports about a young girl falling overboard on Sunday took center stage.

Shocking reports revealed how the hero father put on a brave face to try and grab her after trending water for nearly 20 minutes before he rescued her.

The Disney Dream ship was reportedly on its way from Florida to the Bahamas. This is the point when the ship gave out a distress signal about not only one but two people overboard.

Horrified passengers shared how they heard the sound of something slamming against the pavement when they were informed that the girl had fallen from the cruise ship.

Witnesses mentioned the horror of the girl falling from the fourth deck as tense vacationers feared the worst when they saw the dad jump in after her.

But it all turned out well in the end as the bright yellow rescue boat was lowered into the water and eventually made its way to where the father and his daughter were waiting. Their bobbing heads were signs that they were okay, but many feared that the great depth of the Atlantic was enough to drown them both if help didn’t arrive on time.
