South Korean actress Kim Mi-soo has reportedly passed away all of a sudden at the age of 29.
The tragic news was recently announced by the star’s agent who revealed how the big-screen star died on Wednesday, leaving her loved ones in absolute shock and struck with grief.
The actress starred in the renowned Disney plus series which was titled ‘Snowdrop.’
In the same way, Kim had also recently managed to gain plenty of attention as she portrayed the student activist, as well as a supporting character named Yeo Jung-min, via a romance drama that captured many people’s hearts and attention.
The star’s agency Landscape mentioned in a recent statement to the Press on Wednesday how “Kim suddenly left us all on the 5th of January.”
At the moment, the bereaved are immensely deep in sorrow at the sudden tragedy that no one saw coming.
“We would sincerely like to request you all from starting off rumors or creating any speculative reports so that the grieving family that is overcoming shock and grief can properly commemorate the deceased and accept the tragedy that has befallen in front of them,” the statement went on to explain.
In regards to the family’s wishes, the funeral of the young star will be held soon via a private ceremony.
“Please wish for Kim Mi Soo to rest in peace, and once again, we offer our deepest condolences to the deceased,” the statement concluded in the end.
While the exact cause of death is yet to be known, Kim’s funeral will reportedly be held at the Taeneung Sungism Funeral Home.
Right after the heartbreaking news was revealed, fans were quick to resort to Twitter to pay their respect and offer condolences to the young star that gained fame in such a short span of time.
