Graduating is one of the most beautiful memories that anyone can hold in their lifetime but one incident is turning heads related to that very same theme.
Think along the lines of being denied your diploma for a ridiculous small reason. Yes, it’s as shocking as it sounds and this incident is now going viral.
Sources from local media outlets were quick to speak about how the young woman did not get her diploma because her way of celebrating the end of high school was something that the principal found to be super inappropriate.
Hence, instead of speaking to her directly, she opted to show her the door and completely denied her diploma on the fact. As you can imagine, the candidate started to break down into tears.
The incident reportedly took place in Philadelphia and it was just mortifying for some people to even think that this sort of behavior from the head of the institution was alright.
The acknowledgment related to so many years of hard work was being denied to an 18-year-old graduate who goes by the name of Hafsah Abdur Rehman.
She was reportedly recorded doing a very bizarre dance that’s known as The Griddy. The latter is a known form of celebration that originally originated as a form of football touchdown celebration.
But she was seen breaking down into tears when she was told that her actions would have drastic consequences and she was baffled and saddened.
Lisa Mesi who was the principal then was called out by the administration when they found out about her intentions. She was shown the door and asked to leave as this behavior was just wrong.
A new principal did walk in and the matter which many called out as highly dramatic was altered and thank God for that!
