A woman from Ohio has reportedly passed away after freezing to death.
The victim was identified as a 43-year-old female resident from Ohio who was found without a pulse inside her own backyard. Sources claim she was only trying to let her dog out which resulted in the tragedy.
Authorities shared more on this front including how the reason for death was mostly likely hypothermia due to harsh winter conditions which led to this ordeal.
Eugenia Michele Wadman was found right outside her residence in Willard Ohio on Sunday as per reports from local media outlets.
The Huron County Sheriff’s Department shared more on this front including how they rushed after getting a 911 call about a woman that was unresponsive at 11 am.
After they arrived at the scene, deputies found her dead remains covered in the snow. Preliminary findings from the sheriff’s office shared how she had taken her pet outside during the night while dressing in only her PJs.
Investigators strongly believed that she fell and sustained injuries as it probably led her to crawl on the snow and the ice-covered yard. At the time of the incident, the temperatures in the Willard fell to about -6 degrees centigrade.
