Parents of Boy, 5, Who Died in Hyperbaric Chamber Explosion Remember ‘Curious, Energetic, Smart’ Son


The family of the five-year-old boy who was killed in the tragic hyperbaric oxygen incident is speaking out after his shocking and heartbreaking death.

The family recalled the little curious and energetic child who was their lifeline and light. His smile was said to be so infectious and many found it hard to accept the fact that he’s gone.

The family shared how they were getting care at the alternative center in Michigan but never knew that this would one day cost them the child’s life.

The lawyer representing them stated on Friday that the parents have gone through something that no parent should ever have to go through. It’s unimaginable to think what they’ve gone through and not fair on their part either.

Little Thomas Cooper was said to be getting hyperbaric oxygen therapy for his ADHD and sleep apnea at the Oxford Center. This was reported as an alternative medicine facility in the Detroit suburb of Troy.

But then all of a sudden, the hyperbaric chamber lit up in what many dubbed to be a fiery explosion that killed many little souls and injured others. While his mom who was waiting outside rushed to save him, he died from serious burn injuries.
