Dick Van Dyke appeared to be in high spirits as he was caught outside a Los Angeles restaurant following lunch.
The 96-year-old actor, singer, and dancer looked decades younger as he put on his goofy smile after leaving a restaurant together with his friend ahead of Sunday’s Father’s Day.
Speaking to DailyMail.com, the Mary Poppins star suggested his weekend was going to be low-key after seemingly forgetting it was Father’s Day on Sunday.
The father-of-four then also expressed his gratitude for the blessing of life saying: “I’m just glad to still be here.”
During the casual outing, Dick wore a grey shirt with rolled-up sleeves and navy blue pants complemented by a black handbag for men.
He was also spotted shopping at a Malibu pharmacy where he bought a can of self-tanning spray to keep up his youthful looks.
The celeb sighting comes months after the actor proved he’s still got what it takes to be a star.
Back on Valentine’s Day, Dick danced with his wife, 50-year-old Arlene Silver, for their music clip Everybody Loves a Lover.
“I love to harmonize, so that keeps me going. It’s kind of my retirement amusement. I don’t play golf. I have more fun singing and dancing,” Dick explained.
Dick shares four kids with ex-wife Margerie Willet whom he stayed married to for 36 years before their divorce. He was later dating Michelle Triola Marvin who died in 2009.
In 2012, the Mary Poppins star tied the knot with Arlene Silver and the couple remain happy together to this day.
“He is the most perfect human being. I’ve never met anyone so happy, so genuine, so amazing. He’s just like a happy pill,” Arlene previously said of her husband.
