Shocking reports are speaking about the Minneapolis and state leaders preparing for the potential pardon of Derek Chauvin.

The news comes after many Republicans, including Rep Marjorie Taylor Greene, were seen calling upon President Trump to issue a federal pardon to Derek Chauvin, the Minneapolis police officer convicted over the killing of George Floyd on May 25th, 2020.

She added how her voice was a growing one, and many did support her in this call. She hoped people would realize that Floyd passed away from an excessive dose of drugs.

The 40-year-old cop was one of four officers who arrived at the scene after the owner of Cup Foods convenience store in Minneapolis spoke about Floyd and complained that he had tried to pay for a pack of cigarettes using a fake or counterfeit $20 bill.

The officers who arrived immediately handcuffed him, and that’s when, during the arrest, Chauvin knelt on the suspect’s neck for nearly nine minutes as he lay face down on the ground. Floyd kept stating that he could not breathe, and in the end, he lost complete consciousness.
