Delta passengers were seen scrambling to safety after the flight they were on flipped upside down after crash landing at Toronto’s Pearson International Airport yesterday.
The incredible moments were captured by the passengers who were literally hanging upside down like a bat. At least 18 people were said to have been injured in the act and one included a child.
The flight had 80 people on board and while no fatalities were reported, the fact that it underwent a fiery explosion after landing on the icy runway has people talking about the near catastrophe.
The footage was captured by one of the survivors who showed how the terrified passengers were coming out from one of the plane’s doors.
Brave cabin crew members could be seen assisting many out while another could be heard scolding the person taking the video, asking him not to as this was a serious situation.
Another young woman was seen Snapchatting herself while fastened tight to her seat in an upside-down position. She recalled the terror of seeing the fireball explosion outside her window and how the plane hit the ground hard and flipped on its roof. She explained how happy she was to be alive and was still in shock as to what had just taken place.
