Delta flight horror as plane forced to make emergency landing with dozens of passengers rushed to hospital after severe turbulence


An international Delta flight was forced to make an emergency landing after dozens of passengers were injured due to severe turbulence.

The airline shared more about how Flight 56 was making its way from Salt Lake City, Utah, to Amsterdam, and it was diverted safely to St. Paul International Airport, where it landed safely at about 7:45 pm on Wednesday.

The flight had taken off from Salt Lake City at about 4:35 local time in Minneapolis. The Fire Department officials shared more about how paramedics met the flight at the gate to evaluate passengers and crew, and 25 passengers had to be transported to local hospitals for evaluation and care, as per CBS News.

Early reports shared more about how some of the passengers had flown out of their seats during the severe moments of turbulence, and some are now being checked for possible broken bones.
