The driver was identified as a man named Owen Lindstrom who hails from Oregon and enjoys delivering meals for Uber Eats. But now, he’s taking his rant to his social media account on TikTok and blasting all the stingy customers out there.

The man began by trashing the concept related to tip baiting. For those who may not be aware, it’s an act whereby mean customers go ahead and promise large gratuity to all delivery drivers on online applications. And that’s only to reduce the amount after all of their food has been dropped.

But Owen claims he has had enough of this nonsense and thinks it’s high time that people raised awareness of their behavior.

“They are stingy schemers out there and we need to do something about them,” he went on to explain. Since then, the video has managed to gain nearly 4.8 million views in no time.

“When it comes down to food delivery applications, the customers always have the ability to increase or even reduce the tips after their drop-offs,” he went on to add.

“Tip baiting is when customers offer a fairly handsome tip to get their food faster and then take it right away at the end,” he added.

Owen believes that while it’s good for some customers as it protects them from suffering bad experiences in terms of delivery, it certainly does leave a giant opportunity to screw over the driver in the end.

The driver did add a little humor to his post by asking his followers and viewers to share their worst tip baiting stories ever, and he even promised to give the winner a crisp high-five in the end.
