Pete Hegseth has found himself embroiled in another serious controversy, as shared by local media outlets recently.
The US Defense Secretary is in hot water after being accused of plagiarism by the Princeton Student Newspaper, which says his actions are unlawful, especially considering he holds a leading position in the current Trump administration.
Trump’s Secretary of Defense had his entire college thesis plagiarized, and the claims are coming right now from his alma mater, which is Princeton University.
He added the prestigious college between 1999 to 2003, and on Monday, it was awful to see how they turned against him, accusing him of plagiarizing his senior thesis, including a review of the document. This was further verified by three other plagiarism experts.
They found in that paper how there were eight instances of uncredited material, sham paraphrasing, and verbatim copying.
The experts mentioned how they had no idea who the identity of author was before the assessment process began, as that could influence the findings.
This is not the first time that Hegseth has been scrutinized since receiving his very important leadership position in the Trump administration. However, his credibility is slowly and surely decreasing as experts claim it just adds another shame to his name.
