The brother of a leading NHL player is feeling the heat after being caught pushing a woman’s wheelchair down the stairs.

Sources from local media outlets confirmed how the action was beyond ridiculous and one that was unjustifiable. Yet, he continued to apologize for the ordeal and vowed it would never happen again.

But the thought of an incident of this magnitude taking place has the world stunned.

The news stunned Pennsylvania’s Mercyhurst University where they claim to be left with no decision but to suspend the player from the team after he was caught in the brutal act.

Moreover, the woman who happened to be the victim has spoken up about the incident and how deeply she was hurt physically and emotionally by the act.

The victim shared one image that melted so many people’s hearts and brought more resentment on the part of the player for doing the unthinkable. 23-year-old Carson Briere acknowledged his involvement in this particular accident that reportedly occurred on Saturday.

This was reportedly at a bar in Erie, PA. And now, viral footage from the brutal act is getting shared online as people try to come to terms with what went on.

Despite the apology being generated, many just found it hard to believe that he really meant it. And that’s because it came only after the video went viral.

While the video does not have any sound, it shows Briere donning a white-toned hat and chatting at the top of the stairs, right before he takes a seat in the unattended wheelchair. Soon, he gets up and that’s when another student positions himself at the top of the stairs.

On that note, Briere pushes the wheelchair over the edge of the stairs, intentionally allowing it to tumble down to the ground. As expected, the wheelchair sustained damage and that’s why a GoFundMe account was created to raise more funds to attain a new one.
