Tragic reports are speaking about the death of a Super Bowl reporter in New Orleans.

The tragedy marks a one-year gap from where his wife was killed. Now, a suspect has been arrested in connection to the death of the Kansas City Sports reporter who goes by the name of Adan Manzano.

He passed away inside his hotel room while covering the Super Bowl LIX festivities in New Orleans this week.

Police inside Kenner, Louisiana arrested the 48-year-old Danette Colbert on Thursday evening after she was found using the deceased reporter’s credit card.

 

She shopped at several different stores with the card in the New Orleans area, sources have confirmed. As per Daily Mail, security footage was retrieved and it shows Colbert with Manzano during the early morning hours before she left the hotel as per investigators.

Manzano was found unresponsive in the hotel on Wednesday afternoon and the cause of death was yet to be determined.

Authorities claimed that no signs of trauma were noticed on the victim’s body, adding that it could be a case of possible drugging. For now, the authorities and investigators are waiting for the results of the toxicology report.
