Terrifying and tragic reports have gone on to confirm the death of a young child who passed away after being poisoned.
According to reports from local media outlets, the child was intentionally fed water beads, batteries, and a screw. And by the time she was rushed to a nearby emergency, she was dead.
The suspect happened to be the child’s baby’s lover and her motive was to get rid of the child as soon as possible as she did not like a ‘third person’ intervening in her relationship.
The news has left many heartbroken beyond belief. They are just so shocked and terrified as to how anyone could go to this extent to kill an innocent child due to some personal grudges she had with her man.
The child’s mom is now breaking her silence on the matter for the first time. She claims that this was the worst feeling in the world, knowing that your child is no more because of someone’s evil intentions.
The mother added how the baby was her only ray of sunshine and now that she’s gone, she does not have a purpose to live on in this world.
The suspect has now been arrested and identified as 20-year-old Aleisa Lynnae Owens who was charged with three counts of homicide. Other charges put against her name include aggravated assault and endangering the welfare of kids with the death arising in the state of Pennsylvania.
The baby’s father has also been arrested for similar charges as authorities detailed more about how little Iris was rushed to a nearby emergency ICU but just couldn’t make it out alive due to the toxic substances ingested.
One relative of the child mentioned how this was just mindblowing how anyone could be so sick and fall to this level. “Tell the world that monsters do exist and these criminals are the perfect example”- she yelled.
