Plus-size rapper Dank Demoss has called out Lyft for weight discrimination after they refused to accommodate the star due to her body size.
The Detroit native shed light on how embarrassing and ridiculous it was for her to hear the comments of the driver who said she was too big for his car and, therefore, he would be canceling the ride due to her size.
Now, the star has appeared on The Breakfast Club to talk about plus-size advocacy and the lack of accommodations for plus-size people.
The chat did have a very awkward start where Demoss could be seen visibly uncomfortable while seated on the chair with the microphone. She even asked them if this was the only seat that they got, as she could barely fit. Thankfully, production was able to accommodate her in the right manner, and that made her happy.
She said that it was about time that the world understood that being overweight is not something that gives people the right to ridicule you or treat you any differently.
The star shared how it was about time that the oversized community got accommodations and privileges like the LGBTQ community, because it was only fair.
