Actor Eric Dane has vowed to never give up on his fight amid a health battle of ALS after sharing a heartbreaking update regarding his condition.
The 52 year old star got candid about his optimistic view on the future with his partner Rebecca Gayheart and their two young kids, which include Beatrice and Georgia, during a sit-down interview with California congressman Eric Swalwell.
The politician recently shared a clip on his social media account where the star bravely mentioned: ‘I wanna ring every bell!’
‘I have two daughters at home, I want to see them graduate from college, get married, and perhaps have grandkids’- he shared. Last month, the Grey’s Anatomy star sparked serious concerns with his absence from the Emmys, which was just five months after he shared with his fans about his ALS diagnosis.
“I want to be there for all of that. So I am going to fight until the last breath on this one!”- he shared.
The actor and government official were similarly joined by doctors and reps from the ‘I am ALS’ organization during the meeting as they spoke about the federal funding towards debilitating neurological disease.
Dane mentioned that ALS is the last thing anyone in the world would like to be diagnosed with. The latest news comes amid reports about the star being wheelchair bound and having difficulty speaking.
