In the emotional post that was shared to her account on Instagram, the eldest daughter of the Die Hard star mentioned more details about her love for her father and then opened up about the struggles that she continues to face, not able to link with him the way she did before the diagnosis.
Rumer began the caption with images of herself and her father from her childhood. She mentioned how she felt a strong ache in her chest to talk to him and tell him everything that she’s up to and what is going on in her life.
She wished to hug him and ask him about life and the stories and the struggles, and the successes that have come her way. ‘I wish I had asked you more queries while you could still tell me about it all’- she shared.
‘But I know you would not want me to be sad today, so I will just try to be grateful, reminding myself how lucky of an individual I am’- she concluded.
