Tragic reports are speaking about a horrifying incident of a Royal Caribbean cruise passenger who fell over the glass railing of an infinity pool.

According to reports shared by local media outlets, the passenger was trying to retrieve their missing sunglasses during a recent sailing adventure.

The scary incident arose at the ship’s Hideaway Poll and was shared on Instagram. In the haunting video, the male passenger can be seen waving his right arm in a repeated motion while his upper body hangs over the edge of the glass railing.

He then lifts his legs up in the air and his weight shifts forward, causing him to fall completely over the edge and into the safety barrier that is linked to the edge of the pool. Onlookers can be heard yelling in the background for help as they witness the male fall down.

A spokesperson for the Royal Caribbean Group shared in another statement that a guest fell into the pool gutter by accident while trying to reach over and retrieve their shades. The crew was said to have responded immediately to the emergency situation and managed to save him in time. Thankfully, he did not sustain any serious injuries.
